Today’s song could be a message from God or a message to God.
If God is singing to you, He is telling you that although he created all people and places, He loves you the most. The cool thing about God is that He loves you the most and He loves me the most because He is love. Maybe you needed to be reminded today of how special you are to Him.
But what if you were singing the song? Who do you love the most? The song tells us that it is OK to have affection for people and places. But the song wants the person who is listening to know that they are loved the most…a beautiful sentiment really. We can and should love the people God has placed in our lives. The song causes us to pause and remember the many faces God has used to touch us. But it begs the question, Who do you love the most?
Is God even on the list? For today, let’s all make sure that God is at the top…and let’s be thankful for the many others on our lists too.
